Frequently Asked Questions

Do we have a car park?

No we do not have a car park. Parking is on the road that runs alongside the guest house, Alexandra Road. For all Direct bookings it's free, with bookings via Booking.com it's £5.00 for 24 hours to park on Alexandra Road. Or if you choose to park at the Harrogate Convention Centre it's £15.00 for 24 hours.

Do we have a lift?

No we do not have a lift. There are approximately 26 steps to the first floor and a further 20 steps to the second floor. We are a traditional Victorian terraced property. Please bear this in mind when packing your bags, we do not have a bellboy!

Do we serve breakfast?

Breakfast is included in ALL direct bookings with ourselves. Breakfast is not included if you have booked through a third party booking site such as Booking.com. They take too much commission as it is. Breakfast can be added on arrival at an additional cost of £12.50 per person per day. Look at our breakfast page to see what we serve. We try and accommodate all dietary needs, please let us know at the time of booking.

Do we take pets?

Only dogs, not puppies (not that I don't love puppies) £15.00 per day. This has to be mentioned at time of booking, no surprises when you turn up as we have designated rooms and your booking will be void with no refund/transferrable.

Are we allowed visitors in to our rooms?

The answer is no you are not. The reservation is for the persons booked and no one else. There are plenty of places in Harrogate for you to meet your family and friends.

Do we need to be in by a certain time?

No, you will have keys to your room and given the code for the front door. You can come and go as you like but please bear in mind that there are other people staying here too.

How far is the Harrogate Convention Centre and the town centre?

We are very fortunate that we are directly opposite the Harrogate Convention Centre depending on what entrance you are using. The town centre is within walking distance. The Harrogate Theatre is a mere 7 minute walk, Bettys Tea-rooms is a 9 minute walk and Asda is a 7 minute walk. The bus and train station are a comfortable 10 minute walk.
